Accentus Music and the Gewandhausorchester want to contribute in bringing a shred of normality to the audiences who cannot attend any concerts for the time being. Reason why the orchestra and Accentus Music will be streaming productions with the Gewandhausorchester on the orchestra's website every week on Thursdays and Fridays - the regular days of their concerts. At Easter, the offer will be broadened to Easter Sunday and Easter Mondayas well.

The streams start on Thursday and Friday at 12 noon and are available for 24 hours. The programs will feature current and former Gewandhauskapellmeisters Andris Nelsons, Riccardo Chailly and Herbert Blomstedt and works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Bruckner and Mahler among many others. They also include two productions from St. Thomas Church Leipzig, the third regular concert venue of the Gewandhausorchester, which will be available on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Most of the productions are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
