This production at the Staatsoper Berlin will be Calixto Bieito’s first staging of a Wagner opera. Sonya Yoncheva and René Pape will be joined on stage by French tenor Roberto Alagna in his long-awaited debut as the Knight of the Swan.
The Livestream of Lohengrin is part of the third ARTE Opera Season, a European Opera Season that ARTE presents in partnership with leading opera houses from all over Europe since 2018 - available worldwide and with subtitles in six languages.
