The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the IMZ International Music + Media Centre are delighted to announce that the 2024 EBU-IMZ Outstanding Achievement Award goes to Canadian documentary filmmaker Larry Weinstein.

“There is always an unexpected angle, a unique facet of his subject matter that only he can recognise, as his latest film Beethoven’s Ninth: An Ode to Humanity has once again shown,” said IMZ President Laetitia Huberti.

Warmest congratulations to Larry Weinstein, and a heartfelt thank you to the Golden Prague International Television Festival for giving us the platform to honour the remarkable contributions of this exceptional filmmaker to the performing arts.
