Poorhouse International is pleased to announce that the documentary by Reiner E. Moritz "Hans Zender - Thinking With Your Senses" is the first title in the new Arthaus Musik series „Legendary Conductors“, now available on DVD with English subtitles.
The music critic Max Nyffeler put it in a nutshell: “Modernity and tradition were the two strands of his artistic career, music-making, composition and reflection on music were the leading subjects of his untiring mental activity”.
This DVD comes with a complete performance of Debussy´s “La Mer”, a recording the conductor himself cherished.
