This production of Bellini’s final masterpiece, I Puritani, comes from the multi-award-winning team of stage directors Sergio Morabito and Jossi Wieler, and set/costume designer Anna Viebrock during a highly successful run at Stuttgart Opera in 2018. This production includes for the first time all the music composed by Bellini for the Paris premiere in 1835. The Staatsopernchor and Staatsorchester Stuttgart are conducted by Manlio Benzi with a cast that features the Polish bass Adam Palka, the Macedonian soprano Ana Durlovski and the tenor René Barbera.
