In September, SescTV presents 4 documentaries portraying the various forms of dance in different places in Brazil:

DANÇAS NEGRAS
"Black Dances" proposes a debate on the presence of black culture in contemporary times, as well as the various paradoxes found in a society marked by a racist and slave tradition.

OLHANDO PARA AS ESTRELAS
"Looking at the Stars" is the portrait of two dancers who are part of the only ballet school for the blind in the world — the Fernanda Bianchini Association, located in São Paulo.

MARAMBIRÉ
"Marambire" shows the dynamics which brings together dance, music and singing strongly marked by drums, making reference to the ancient reigns of Central Africa, recreating a theatrical universe with king, queen, princess, players and foremen.

NA DANÇA!.DOC
"Into the Dance" show the 2nd edition of Na Dança Festival, designed by Betty Gervitz, which speaks of dance movements as a way to also portray the movements of the city, its people and its cultures.
