Highlights from a long and fruitful collaboration: Berliner Philharmoniker Recordings is releasing all of Unsuk Chin’s works performed by the orchestra in one edition.
Berliner Philharmoniker Recordings is releasing all of Unsuk Chin’s works performed by the orchestra in one edition. The composer’s music evokes a magical realm: at times it unfolds labyrinths of innovative sounds, at others it reveals moments of otherworldly beauty. For the Berliner Philharmoniker, the encounter with the works of the Berlin-based Korean composer is a “continuous adventure” that our edition would like to take you on.
In addition to the recordings on two CDs and one Blu-ray plus an interview with Unsuk Chin the hardcover edition features an attractively designed accompanying book with moiré effect art by Takahiro Kurashima and in-depth introductory texts.
