Call for Submissions: SanFrancisco Dance Film Fest
Open Call for Submissions for San Francisco Dance Film Festival's 15th Anniversary Film Festival.
In celebration of their 15-year anniversary, San Francisco Dance Film Festival (SFDFF) announces an open call for a wide range of dance-focused films to present on its internationally acclaimed platform.
SFDFF has become one of the most respected and influential dance film festivals in the world. A non-profit organisation operating year round, SFDFF has the mission of supporting independent artists through screenings, panels, filmmaking workshops, and original film productions that bring together professionals from the communities of dance, filmmaking, and music in unprecedented collaborations.
For our 2024 season we will celebrate our 15-year anniversary with enhanced in-person programmes, building back the much-missed excitement of film on the big screen and live interactions among artists and audiences including screenings, panels, filmmaking workshops, and original film productions that bring together professionals from the communities of dance, filmmaking, music and art. In addition to being presented on our internationally recognised platform, selected films will be considered for independent jury awards and for the SFDFF touring reel to reach audiences around the world.
SFDFF 2024 runs 16 - 20 October. Submissions are now open and are accepted through 16 April; late deadline is 8 May.
