To celebrate the end of the year, the Berliner Philharmoniker and chief conductor Kirill Petrenko present a captivating, Italian-inspired programme with tenor Jonas Kaufmann as their star guest. In addition to arias, the concert includes famous overtures from Italian opera, Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous Capriccio italien and the finest numbers from Sergei Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet.
