#bebeethoven festival in Bonn
OCT 2020: PODIUM Esslingen opens a musical window to the future in a series of concerts and performances in Beethoven’s birthplace Bonn.
Finally, live music again – even if quite differently than planned.
PODIUM Esslingen is able to open a musical window to the future in a series of concerts and performances in Beethoven’s birthplace Bonn at the end of the major promotion project #bebeethoven, which has been running for several years.
We cordially invite you to join us on this exciting musical journey with 12 #bebeethoven fellows. A kaleidoscope of sounds, new formats and touching experiences awaits you. The focus is on new formats of classical music and courageous, multimedia approaches to contemporary music. Old mixes with new, light meets heavy, newly interpreted classics complement works fresh from the press.
Today Beethoven is a kind of mascot of high culture. He was not always so established: With his revolutionary character, he shaped the musical world to this day. Twelve up-and-coming artists are building on this innovative strength. They have taken the Beethoven anniversary as an opportunity to realize their own projects for the music of the future.
