New Viennese music that draws on the Vienna of the turn of the century and bridges the gap to the 21st century. Marko Dumančić finds his own personal voice and brings the spirit of early modernism into the present. Guitar, percussion, and cello blend together into an exciting and inspiring melange of musical voices, entirely in the style and tradition of Vienna, the music metropolis.
Marko Dumančić is a classical guitarist, who explores the possibilities of the 8-string guitar to express his own views and perception of music, virtuolsy and captivating. His songs are both melodious and inviting, yet they possess a depth that lingers long after they end.
Anna Starzinger is a well known cellist, composer, and actress. She has performed as a musician and actress at the Viennese Burgtheater, appears in feature films, and also works with various bands.
Ingrid Oberkanins is a master on the percussion who intensively pursuits jazz and the understanding of rhythm of non-European cultures. She furthermore contributes to projects in theatre, literature, film, Neue Musik, performance and free improvisation as musician and/or composer.
