Recorded in February 2017, the performance can be watched on 23 December 2017 at 20:15 on 3sat. Under the musical direction of international star Plácido Domingo, Juan Diego Flórez and Aida Garifullina sing the roles of Roméo and Juliette.
The livestream from 1 February 2017 will be broadcast, produced by the Wiener Staatsoper in-house team and post-produced in collaboration with UNITEL who are now distributing one of the Vienna State Opera highlights 2016/2017 as part of their portfolio.
