Get ready for the festival season! fidelio will stream exclusive performances from the world-renowned Salzburg Festival:

1. Offenbach, Orphée aux enfers - 17 August, 15:00
Watch the Opéra-bouffon “Orphée aux enfers” by Jacques Offenbach live from the Salzburg Festival on August 17th at 3 pm. Enrique Mazzola will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic. Watch the complex mythological tale of Eurydice , Orpheus, John Styx and Thebes unfold directly on your smartphone, tablet, TV or computer.
For licensing reasons this livestream is only available in Austria.

2. Verdi, Simon Boccanegra – 20 August, 20:00
‘All mortal happiness is a deluding enchantment; the human heart is a fount of never-ending woe.’ This dramatic historical opera is often described as Verdi’s most personal, darkest and most pessimistic piece and is set in a civil warlike conflict in Genoa during the middle of the 14th century. Experience Luca Salsi as Simon Boccanegra, Marina Rebeka as Amelia Grimaldi and none other than René Pape as Jacopo Fiesco live from the Salzburg Festival. Maestro Valery Gergiev will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic in the Festspielhaus.
This livestream will be available in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

3. The Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Bernard Haitink - 31 August, 11:00
Furthermore, fidelio will livestream a concert from the Salzburg Festival, namely Anton Bruckner’s grand “Symphony No. 7 in E, WAB 107” under Dutch conductor Bernard Haitink.
This livestream will be available in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
