Carnegie Hall's 135th concert season kicks off in grand style with a thrilling programme of favourites, streamed live from New York in partnership with Rolex and in co-production with Carnegie Hall. The concert features the NYO-USA All-Stars – an extraordinary Carnegie Hall alumni orchestra of young professionals – conductor Daniel Harding and Rolex Testimonee Yuja Wang. The central work is Tchaikovsky's rousing Piano Concerto No. 1, which the superstar pianist directs from the piano. Bookending it are two 20th century classics: Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Stravinsky's kaleidoscopic Suite from his ballet The Firebird. All in all, an unmissable concert from one of the classical music world's greatest venues.
