Filmed live at the Tongyeong International Music Festival in late March 2026, this concert sees flautist Yubeen Kim join Nicolas Altstaedt and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra for a programme exploring elegance and classicism across the 18th and 19th centuries. Altstaedt directs from the cello in Tchaikovsky’s delicately virtuosic Rococo Variations, before Kim takes centre stage in C.P.E. Bach’s D minor Flute Concerto and Haydn’s Symphony No. 70 provides a lively and finely wrought conclusion.
