TV and cinema screenings – The Feeling of Going
3 minutes West’s capture of The Feeling of Going from Skånes Dansteater and Malmö Opera is screened in cinemas across Sweden.
The Feeling of Going had its cinema premiere in Sweden on International Dance Day, 29th April. The magical, large-scale pop-opera-dance-theatre production was screened to audiences across the Skånes region of Southern Sweden. It was also broadcast by SVT in June.
The next public broadcast will be an open air screening at Malmö Festival on August 17th. The production has been sold out three times at Malmö Opera, so the festival screening is a chance for those who missed the chance to see the popular show live.

The Feeling of Going was created by an acclaimed team, headed by multi-talented choreographer and theatre director Ben Wright, and captured for the screen by award-winning director Jeff Tudor.
Set to Jonas Nydesjö's brilliant orchestration of GO, the award-winning album by world-renowned recording artist, Jónsi (Sigur Rós). Performed by the dancers of Skånes Dansteater, the Malmö Opera Orchestra and Chorus, and featuring the stunning vocal talent of Swedish musical artist Moto Boy.
Created for Skånes Dansteater and Malmö Opera in 2013, The Feeling of Going was a sold out hit, delighting audiences and receiving critical acclaim. The production was recorded in November 2017, during its third sell-out run.
