IMZ at Venice Production Bridge
The IMZ attended the VoD Market Day, co-organised by Eurovod - the network of European independent VoD platforms in cooperation with the Venice Production Bridge, the business section of La Biennale.
The VoD Market Day took place on 4 September in the framework of the European VoD Meetings. The VoD Market Day is organised by Eurovod in cooperation with Venice Production Bridge / Venice Film Festival, the business section of La Biennale Venezia.
One day of public conferences, B2B meetings and networking, gathering VoD platforms, film professionals and tech companies working with online content distribution. The IMZ Secretary General Katharina Jeschke attended the event, not only as a participant, but also as a panelist + expert.
In the panel “Demand Creation: How to engage a changing audience”, the IMZ gave an overview of the impact of Covid-19 on the music + dance film sector and the challenges for IMZ Members, presented a selection of use cases and gave an outlook into the future.
The IMZ regularly joins industry events + lends its expertise to specialised conference programmes in order to represent the interests of its member organisations and the sector at large, and to build bridges with other sectors.
