In March 2019, the post production of "The Zurich Liaison - Wagner's One and Only Love" was completed.
In June, the film was invited to the 22nd Shanghai Film Festival (SIFF) - International Panorama for the Asian Premiere. The SIFF is one of 15 International FIAPF-A-World Film Festivals.
The TV version of The Zurich Liaison will be screened as part of Avant Premiere in Berlin in February 2020.
The New York singer-songwriter Sophie Auster is Mathilde Wesendonck and the Finnish actor Joonas Saartamo plays Richard Wagner. The singer Michael Volle and the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Eckehard Stier deliver the soundtrack of our Swiss film production.
One by one, candles are being replaced by paraffin lamps. More as 170 years ago Switzerland was the only country in Europe with a democratic constitution. After the failed German Revolution there were more as 12,000 refugees in Switzerland.In Zurich, composer Wagner is working on his new opera: “Tristan and Isolde”.
