The Silence of Sound - Berlin premiere!
Alondra de la Parra's celebrated multimedia concert production "The Silence of Sound" arrives in Berlin with "Chula the Clown" & Filmorchester Babelsberg.
The Silence of Sound
In Alondra de la Parra's acclaimed multimedia concert production "The Silence of Sound," the conductor, the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg, and Gabriela Muñoz "Chula The Clown" create a work of art combining music, drama, and fantastic video elements. This stage project, featuring romantic masterpieces by Debussy, Brahms, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, and others, is a multisensory celebration of imagination and deep emotions.
The Berlin-based conductor collaborated with the clown performer Gabriela Muñoz to develop this captivating project, which was a resounding success in de la Parra's homeland of Mexico in 2022. Nearly 15,000 spectators attended the performances in four cities across the country.
According to the newspaper El Norte, de la Parra and her team had "developed a new language," and the audience "laughed, cried, applauded, and were moved by a story that needs no words." Without spoken language - suitable for an international audience.
