The New Year's Concerts of Czech Philharmonic became a significant tradition. This year, we have decided to celebrate the new year with you in Czech style with four beautiful works, each of which is original and a supreme musical celebration. Praga composed by Josef Suk, Bedřich Smetana’s Prague Carnival, Sinfonietta by Leoš Janáček and one of the three concert overtures that Antonín Dvořák, who conducted the very first Czech Philharmonic concert, composed in 1891. Dvořák‘s Carnival will open the programme of this year’s concert.
