New IMZ Board

EBU-IMZ Lifetime Achievement Award 2019
Marking one of the festival highlights, the EBU-IMZ Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Gabrielle Babin Gugenheim and Anca-Monica Pandelea, two outstanding women in cultural and music television, whose ouvre was honoured on Saturday, 28 September 2019. Find out more!


IMZ Academy Internal Session “Classical Music Streaming and Distribution – the State of the Art?”
Experts of the IMZ Academy got together to discuss the the state of the art of classical music streaming and distribution. A selection of key market players from Royal Opera House, IDAGIO, Berlin Phil Media, takt1, Finnish National Opera and Ballet and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra outlined their current strategies and distribution models with concrete data and examples in a confidential peer environment. By tackling the common themes, issues and challenges, the participating institutions were able to benefit from each other's valuable expertise and explore the diversity of the market. 'We have learned a lot and are very happy to continue the open discourse about the latest developments in the industry!', IMZ Academy Director Peter Maniura summarised the session. Find out more!
