The European anthem Ode to Joy celebrates its 50 years in 2022. And it is in crisis. Having never had a say in the matter since its adoption, it is finally speaking out. Going through the great stages of the construction of Europe, it calls upon the figures of the past and lifts the veil on the grey areas that have marked out its tumultuous life path and intends to give meaning to its existence. The sequences of the fiftieth anniversary will take place in the context of the European Youth Event 2022.
