Through year-round activities, Sunny Side of the Doc provides a unique space for industry professionals to co-create and share a diversity of compelling stories with the world. To preserve its international reach, the marketplace’s 32nd edition took place online from 21-24 June 2021. Lasting 4 days, the event annually brings together +2,000 professionals in documentary filmmaking, storytelling + broadcasting from 50 countries to buy + sell programmes and share untold stories.
For the fourth consecutive year, the IMZ and Sunny Side of the Doc collaborated for a pitching session for documentaries. As sponsor and expert of the Arts & Culture Pitching Session, the IMZ honoured the best pitch with three accreditations for Avant Première Music + Media Market Berlin 2022, which will take place from 12-16 February.
