SFDFF announces 2018 official jury award winners: congratulations to the filmmakers and choreographers, including many IMZ members
SFDFF recently presented its 9th annual festival, and is pleased to distinguish six films for outstanding achievements. Congratulations to the following filmmakers and choreographers, including many IMZ members, for winning jury awards in the following categories:
Best Documentary ($1,000 USD): PLAY SERIOUS, T.M. Rives, director; Alexander Ekman, choreographer
Honorable Mention: LA CHANA, Lucija Stojevic, director; La Chana, choreographer
Best Live Performance Capture ($500 USD) THE GREAT GHOSTS, Louise Narboni, director; Yoann Bourgeois, choreographer
Best Screendance under 10 minutes ($500 USD): REACH, Billy Boyd Cape, director; Botis Seva, choreographer
Best Screendance over 10 minutes ($500 USD): GATHA, Chenglong Tang, choreographer and director
Best Student Film ($500 USD): PALOMA, Sophia Conger director; Elisabeth Aguilera & Jose Moreno, choreographers
Best Art/Experimental ($500 USD): BOOKANIMA: DANCE, Shon Kim, director and choreographer
