Rose d’Or 2024 Opens for Entries

Rose d’Or, Europe’s premier TV and Audio Awards, are gearing up for the 63rd extraordinary year.

The Rose d’Or has been celebrating the very best in broadcast programme-making since 1961. In 2023, the awards received over 750 entries from more than 30 countries and now Europe’s premier TV and Audio Awards are gearing up for the 63rd extraordinary year.

The Rose d’Or and The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) are delighted to announce that rising comedy star Sophie Duker will host this year’s Awards. The Award Ceremony will take place on Monday December 2nd at King’s Place, London.

Sophie said: “ As a huge fan of both excellence in international programming and free champagne, hosting the Rose d’Or Awards is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see what other parts of the dream come true – will my teeth fall out? Will my dress fall off? Will I become briefly fluent in Spanish? Va a ser una noche inolvidable! “

The 2024 awards are open for entries from 10 June and will close on 23 September.

The categories for 2024 are:

• Comedy Drama and Sitcom
• Soap or Telenovela
• Factual Entertainment and Reality
• Competition Reality
• Studio Entertainment
• Comedy Entertainment
• Documentary
• Arts
• News and Current Affairs
• Children and Youth
• Multiplatform Series
• Audio

In addition to the special individual awards of Lifetime Achievement, Performance of the Year and Emerging Talent, won in 2023 by Josee Dayan, Sarah Lancashire and Ayo Edebiri.

All programmes and series that have first aired, anywhere in the world, on a broadcast, streaming, online or mobile platform between 1 July 2023 and 23 September 2024 are eligible.
