Did you know there were 95 latest music, dance + theatre films from all around the globe in the Golden Prague Festival competition last year? Programmes from 47 television and film studios from 17 countries were competing and other 2 films were entered into the 2021 non-competition section!
Grand Prix of the 58th Golden Prague Festival and prize money - a cheque for 10.000 EUR - went to Romeo & Juliet, a bold new film of Shakespeare's classic romantic tragedy, from the London National Theatre. Starring Jessie Buckley, Josh O'Connor, Tamsin Greig and Adrian Lester.
