Radio Orpheus revives the heritage
Radio Orpheus revives the heritage of Russian composers: 2017 was a year of Alexander Mossolov, 2018 will be a year of Leonid Polovinkin.
The world premiere of the composer Alexander Mossolov (1900 - 1973) works took place in Russia.
Thanks to the project "Reviving heritage of Russian composers" avant-garde music can now be heard at home - an edition of two CDs and a unique film about Alexander Mossolov is on sale. Now the "Orpheus" radio team is working on the next season of the project "Reviving heritage of Russian composers". This time it is dedicated to the life and work of Leonid Polovinkin (1894 - 1949). The deep meanings of the composer's music will be discovered thanks to exclusive materials from the radio station archive.
