After the first edition of Pianomania! in 2018, the piano obsession continues. In Pianomania! II, the three artists Lucas Debargue, Rudolf Buchbinder and David Fray inspire with works by great composers such as the Goldberg Variations by Bach, Sibelius‘ 8th Symphony and the Piano Concerto No.1 by Tchaikovsky. This time the performances take place in the Grand Auditorium, the largest event hall of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. The stage wall is provided with a large glass window that allows atmospheric impressions of the garden behind. As a spectator, you get the impression that you are sitting in the green park with the artists during the concerts.

The Pianomania! II series shows that the piano is an integral part of classical compositions due to its versatility, but that it is also indispensable in popular music.
