The ZDF New Year’s Eve Concert 2017 will bring back the splendour of UFA Film for one scintillating night full of famous melodies. Christian Thielemann and his most convivial Staatskapelle Dresden together with Angela Denoke, Elisabeth Kulman und Daniel Behle will send off the old year in style and will present a bouquet of cheerful melodies.

The UFA Film was the so-called dream factory, dominating the German film industry from 1917 to 1945, and produced hits like “Metropolis”, “The Three from the Filling Station” and “The Blue Angel”. Like no other film company before, it brought together a wealth of stars and artists.
