Magic Moments of Music
Argerich, Netrebko, Karajan, Caballé: Four new episodes of the extensive documentary series available at the end of 2020!
This year the series features two Salzburg specials – the stunning La Traviata with Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazón from 2005. And the first performance of the Rosenkavalier in the Great Festival Hall, conducted by Herbert von Karajan in 1960.
Martha Argerich transforms from a young pianist into a star at the 1965 Chopin Competition in Warsaw. And Montserrat Caballé turns her “Norma” 1974 in the Roman amphitheater in Orange into celebrated musical milestone – despite wind and weather. For this film, her brother Carlos Caballé gives the first interview after her death.
New episodes of Magic Moments of Music with Anna Netrebko, Zubin Mehta, Gidon Kremer, Daniel Barenboim, Gabriela Montero, Sonya Yoncheva, Rolando Villazón and many other artists.
