Salzburg Festival without Anna Netrebko - unthinkable!

Since her international breakthrough in 2002 as Donna Anna in Mozart's “Don Giovanni“, the diva has returned to the place of her triumph almost every year. This year, the Russian soprano devotes herself to the music of her homeland - together with husband and tenor Yusif Eyvazov, she sings the most beautiful scenes and duets from Tchaikovsky‘s masterpieces “Iolanta”, “Queen of Spades” and “Eugene Onegin”.

While the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg under Mikhail Tatarnikov rolls out the sound carpet, Netrebko never fails to impress with her incredible stage presence and voice: “Pure Magic!” (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
