KULMAG.LIVE presents International Classical Music Awards
Watch the ICMA awards ceremony via livestream on Sunday, June 27 2021 and learn more of the new streaming service KULMAG.LIVE portal.
The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) is one of the most important awards ceremonies for classical music in Europe. Every year, a jury of 20 experts from the international music press select a number of artists who have distinguished themselves musically in a special way. This year, this will take place at a festive awards gala concert in Vaduz with the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra (SOL) as host. Due to Corona, the date of the event has been moved to June 27, 2021.
In Liechtenstein, the Corona crisis was quickly understood as an opportunity and the decision was made to follow new innovative paths. With the highest technical effort, a new streaming service was developed that not only broadcasts all subscription concerts of the SOL as well as all chamber music evenings and final concerts of the Intensive-Weeks of the International Music Academy Liechtenstein live via the Internet, but also makes them available to its audience on a long-term basis.
In addition to live streaming of concerts, the KULMAG.LIVE portal, which is based on a cooperation with takt1, will also offer other interesting content. The focus will be on documentaries, master classes, interviews and podcasts about music in and from Liechtenstein, which will be available together with concert recordings as well as excerpts as Viedo-on-Demand.
The launch of the new streaming service will be officially announced at the gala concert of the International Classical Music Awards in Vaduz but it is already available for your registration on June 20, 2021. To watch the ICMA awards ceremony via livestream, simply click on the link on our homepage on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 15:30 CET.
