Jungle By Night
Funky horns, afro percussions and drums, rock guitars and basses, synthesizers and catchy organs, this is the explosive cocktail of the nine Dutchmen of Jungle By Night.
A formation that can remind of other well formed bands like the Americans of Snarky Puppy, but they distinguish themselves by their attachment to the afro-beat and jazz universe.
Catchy and danceable themes, repetitive and sometimes devilish music, Africa is also present everywhere in their music, yet imagined on the edge of the Amsterdam canals by Pieter Van Exter (saxophone) and Ko Zandvliet (trombone). Whether on the dancefloors of Istanbul, Tokyo, London, or Strasbourg, the members of Jungle By Night propel their borderless afro-beat trance into the heart of a fantasized jungle.
