The star tenor Jonas Kaufmann has always been a fan of cinema and soundtracks: now, for the first time, he brings this passion to the stage. In his new Sound of Movies, Kaufmann presents a programme that spans 80 years of film history.
The journey starts with the atmosphere of German songs from the 1930s, dives into Ennio Morricone's and Hans Zimmer's most famous film scores and culminates with hits from musicals that achieved great success on the big screen.
