The film shows Jacques Loussier's significance to the Jazz scene of the 20th century music. It includes recently filmed interviews with young pianists like Olivia Trummer, Frank Dupree, Edouard Ferlet and Jean-François Zygel, each demonstrating their personal approach combining classical music and jazz but also archival footage with Jacques Loussier and interviews with Loussier's friends and colleagues in their private environment (his widow Elizabeth Loussier, bassist Benoit Dunoyer de Segonzac, bassist Vincent Charbonnier, drummer André Arpino).
