The International Emmy® Awards Winner have been Announced
For the first time ever, the 48th International Emmy® Awards were streamed live online on 23 November 2020 for all to watch throughout the world. The IMZ took part in the final round of judging!

Our most sincere congratulations are to IMZ Member FRANCE TELEVISIONS on winning in the category Arts Programming with “VERTIGE DE LA CHUTE (Resacca)”!
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented 1 Special Award and 12 Emmys across 11 categories announced the winners.
13-year-old Billy Barratt accepted the Emmy for Best Performance by an Actor for his role as Ray in Responsible Child. He is the youngest actor ever nominated and winning in this category!
Film icon Glenda Jackson won the Emmy for Best Performance by an Actress for her role as Maud in Elizabeth is Missing.
Drama Series Delhi Crime garnered the first ever Emmy for a programme from India.
The 12 winning International Emmy programmes and performances span 7 countries: Australia, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, India, the UK and the US.
They are: Vertige de la Chute (Arts Programming), Billy Barratt + Glenda Jackson (Best Performance by an Actor + Actress), Ninguém Tá Olhando (Comedy), For Sama (Documentary), Delhi Crime (Drama Series), La Reina del Sur Season 2 + 20th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® (Non-English Language U.S. Primetime Program), Old People's Home For 4 Year Olds (Non-Scripted Entertainment), #martyisdead (Short-Form Series), Órfãos Da Terra (Orphans of a Nation) (Telenovela), and Responsible Child (TV Movie/Mini-Series).

Bruce Paisner presented Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York with the 2020 International Emmy Founders Award for his exceptional use of television for Public service during the Covid-19 pandemic. Joining him were fellow New Yorkers Billy Joel, Billy Crystal, Robert De Niro, Rosie Perez and Ben Stiller, who recorded special congratulatory messages.
