In Memoriam Barbara Wunderlich
The accomplished editor, film producer and co-founder of LowBeats passed away on 12 April.
A frequent face at IMZ gatherings, well-regarded industry veteran Barbara Wunderlich passed away at the age of 57 on 12 April after losing her struggle with cancer. The daughter of acclaimed German tenor Fritz Wunderlich and a graduate of the Munich Conservatory, she amassed numerous accomplishments of her own, working as a successful editor, screenwriter, film producer, advertising manager and co-founder of German online hi-fi magazine LowBeats during her long career.
The IMZ joins Ms Wunderlich’s many friends and colleagues in mourning and offers its heartfelt condolences to her family members. Read a touching eulogy by her longtime collaborator and editor in chief, Holger Biermann here:
