Registration is now open. Profit from an Early Bird Rate until 1 August 2017!
PROGRAMME
This edition of the IMZ Academy 2017 will focus on opera in the digital age, looking in particular at the challenge of online and social media. It will cover the key aspects of the visualisation and communication of the art form to the general public, ranging from performance capture – whether for television, cinema or online – to the contextualisation of performance and performers through factual content, archive and documentary material. The sessions will examine the editorial and technological aspects of an effective high quality media strategy for opera organisations both large and small.
SPEAKERS
The course will be led by IMZ Academy director Peter Maniura (Head of Digital Development for BBC Arts), with top level industry guest speakers giving the inside track and practical guidance on the latest developments in the field. There will be case studies from two opera houses of varying scale and character as well as from an internationally renowned multi-camera director.
