International Emmy® Awards Winners announced
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 47th International Emmy® Awards on 25 November at a Black-Tie Gala in New York City. The event was attended by 1,000 television professionals from all around the world.

2 Special Awards and 11 Emmy statues were presented by the International Academy during the evening.
Somali-American, philanthropist, author and former model Iman presented the International Emmy Directorate Award to Christiane Amanpour, Chief International Anchor for CNN and host of PBS’ nightly global affairs show Amanpour.
Actor Conleth Hill, known worldwide for his role as Lord Varys in Game of Thrones, presented the International Emmy Founders Award to Game of Thrones Creators and Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
Haluk Bilginer accepted the Emmy for Best Performance by an Actor for his role as Agah, in Şahsiyet (Persona). Marina Gera accepted the Emmy for Best Performance by an Actress for her role as Irén in Örök Tél (Eternal Winter).
The 11 winning International Emmy programs and performances span 8 countries: Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, The Netherlands, Turkey, the UK and the US. They are: Dance or Die (Arts Programming), Haluk Bilginer (Best Performance by an Actor), Marina Gera (Best Performance by an Actress), Especial de Natal Porta dos Fundos (The Last Hangover) (Comedy), Bellingcat – Truth in a Post-Truth World (Documentary), McMafia (Drama Series), Falco (Non-English Language US Primetime Program), The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night (Non-Scripted Entertainment), Hack the City (Short-Form Series); La Reina del Flow (Telenovela), and Safe Harbour (TV Movie/Mini-Series).
