Heart of Europe 2026: Submissions Open

TVP invites CEE film, TV and performing arts projects for Heart of Europe Forum 2026 in Warsaw. Deadline: 15 August 2026.

TVP is inviting film and television creators from Central and Eastern Europe to submit projects for the Heart of Europe Forum 2026, taking place 27–30 October in Warsaw. This year's open call introduces a major new addition: performing arts, joining the existing categories of feature film, series, and documentary.

The inclusion of performing arts marks a significant expansion of the Forum's scope. For the first time, creators working in stage-based performance are invited to bring their projects to the region's leading pitching and networking event for the screen and cultural industries. This new category is designed to open the Forum up to cross-disciplinary storytelling, encouraging dialogue between screen-based and live performance traditions, and creating fresh opportunities for co-productions and collaborations across artistic forms.

Projects at any stage of development are eligible to apply across all four categories. Selected productions will be presented to an international jury and a broad industry audience during the Forum, offering creators direct access to potential partners, financiers, and commissioners from across the region and beyond.

Heart of Europe Forum has established itself as a key meeting point for the Central and Eastern European film and television industry, and the addition of performing arts is expected to broaden its reach and relevance for the wider cultural sector.
