About the 2021 edition: on-site + online
While Avant Première usually takes place in Berlin during Berlinale, the 2021 edition will take place in a pandemic-proof framework in Vienna as well as online to counteract accessibility challenges.
An extensive programme for a specialised industry
Every year, the Avant Première Screenings present the latest music + dance films such as documentaries, artists' portraits and concerts recordings, contributing to a majority of cultural programming in broadcasting + streaming across the world. In addition, this edition's Avant Première Screenings will present film highlights from the last 5 years as an initiative of the IMZ to give productions more visibility + provide buyers with access to the best content in challenging times.
