Covid-19 may has led to closed opera houses and concert halls, but at the same time has pushed forward experimenting with digital in the performing arts! That is why now it is all the more important to support digital + innovative projects in opera and ballet to promote their sustainable future. For this reason, and in the second year already, the IMZ is acting as the expert partner in the competition process for the FEDORA Digital Prize.
After a successful shortlist phase, 4 projects out of 15 were selected and moved one step closer to win this year's award and achieve funding to continue their creative ideas.

With the FEDORA Digital Prize, the IMZ advocates new ways of artistic expression and access to opera + ballet through digital innovation. Furthermore, the goal is to stimulate new collaborative approaches through digital innovation across different media. With the IMZ taking part in the competition + judging process as expert partner, the FEDORA Digital Prize will fund the winning project with 50.000€ with the support of project partner Kearney.
