Discover Austria: Film Funding, Locations, and Partnerships with FILM in AUSTRIA
FILM in AUSTRIA is the first and central point of contact for international film, TV and streaming productions that plan to shoot in Austria.
The national Film Commission FILM in AUSTRIA offers international production companies customised information, support and consulting free of charge:
• about Austrian film locations in general
• in the search for suitable locations
• about potential film funding, especially FISAplus – Film Industry Support Austria
• about specific production conditions in different cities and regions
• on labor and tax issues
• in searching for Austrian co-production partners or service producer
With FISAplus, international films and series (service productions) in the field of cinema, TV & streaming (including production parts) are supported as well as Austrian TV and streaming productions.
Up to 35% funding is available for the expenditure in Austria – including a Green Bonus and a Gender Gap Financing.
FISAplus is the funding measure of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy and is handled by Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws).
From 10 to 11 December FILM in AUSTRIA will be represented at FOCUS London.
