Cycle of Bruckner’s Symphonies in St Florian
Starting in September 2017, the Munich Philharmonic and Valery Gergiev will present the most spectacular and ambitious cycle of the composer’s Symphonies.
Starting in September 2017, the Munich Philharmonic and Valery Gergiev will present the most spectacular and ambitious cycle of the composer’s Symphonies.
All the performances will take place in the Monastery of St Florian in Linz, a venue inextricably linked to the composer and his final resting place.
The cycle will continue in September 2018 and be completed in September 2019. Every performance will be filmed for international TV broadcast, SVOD DVD and recorded for audio and video release.

• 23-25 Sep 2019 Symphonien Nr 5, 6 & 7
