Cultural Fundraising and Sponsorship Conference, Vienna
The Fundraising Associaton Austrian (FVA) is pleased to announce the second Conference on Cultural Fundraising and Sponsorship in Vienna on 12 October.
Fundraising for arts and culture is still a challenging and new field for most cultural organisations, but it is more and more becoming an important source of funding. At the conference you have the opportunity to meet experts from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the UK and the US and learn about strategic approaches and fundraising tools.
Keynotes will be held by Stefan Wollmann (Berliner Festspiele) and Barbara Higgs (Schauspielhaus Zürich). Among the presenters in the afternoon will be Michael Drautz (Festspielhaus Baden-Baden), Katharina Steinkellner (Science Museum Group, London), Eelco Keij (Radboud University, NL) and Bärbel Holaus-Heintschel (Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien). Though the conference language will be German, there are two workshops in the afternoon that will be held in English. We highly recommend them if you want to take up major-donor-fundraising or if you are interested in receiving grants from US foundations.
