The renowned stagione opera house Theater an der Wien will re-create Beethoven's only opera “Fidelio” 215 years after it was first staged in this same venue. In collaboration with Unitel and directed by two time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will be recorded and broadcasted next year.

Opera enthusiasts can also look forward to the new Theater an der Wien production of polish masterpiece “Halka” by Stanisław Moniuszko and with star tenor Piotr Beczała. Vincenzo Bellini‘s “Norma” will star Asmik Grigorian and also be recorded by Unitel.
