Classical:Next Film Showcases
The IMZ has partnered with Classical:NEXT to create the Film Showcases, which give filmmakers the opportunity to present their work and foster new connections between the classical music and film industries.
This new format is an opportunity for filmmakers to present their work, connect with the community of classical and art music professionals, find new partnership opportunities beyond the film industry, and foster a dialogue between the sectors.
The first call for submissions was met with an enthusiastic response, and we're happy to share the selected projects:
+ Die Wandlung (Germany)
+ DNA Project – Beethoven Symphony No. 7 (Sweden)
+ KLASSIK Underground: Shifting Sounds (Germany)
+ Mission Bass (Belgium)
+ Ophelia, the Hysterical (Brazil)
+ PNO (Prepared New Objects) (South Korea)
The films will be screened during Classical:NEXT on 13 + 14 May at 12:00.
IMZ Members enjoy an exclusive discount of €100 off the current festival pass rate for Classical:NEXT 2025. This means €100 off the Late rate until 25 April, and so on as rates adjust.
