Presented by C Major Entertainment, the 2023 Sujet for the Avant Première Music + Media Market Berlin features Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming’s new operatic travelogue spectacular – filmed in IMAX!

Cities That Sing: Paris

The City of Light benefits from a rich history of opera, architecture, costume, fashion, fine art and cuisine... and a musical timeline spanning centuries. Performing at the historic Théatre du Châtelet, soprano sensation Renée Fleming is joined on stage by special guest star Piotr Beczala as well as Axelle Fanyo and Alexandre Duhamel as they perform well-known opera classics with connections to Paris. As we tour famous locations in Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Fleming takes us through the beloved city to spots that influence arts and culture, and – most importantly – those with a personal connection to her. Filmed originally for IMAX, this one-of-a-kind immersive experience is more than a concert – it is a love-letter to the culture of Paris and the music born from it.
