Celebrating 10 Years of Creative Europe
As a longstanding beneficiary of the Creative Europe fund, the IMZ is happy to join in celebrating this landmark 10-year anniversary.
Founded in 2014 under the patronage of the European Commission, Creative Europe has been supporting projects that foster cultural diversity, promote artistic expression, and boost the economic potential of the creative industries.
The programme is divided into three strands (Culture, Media, and Cross-Sectoral) and has a budget of €2.44 billion.
Its main objectives are to safeguard, develop, and promote European cultural and linguistic diversity and heritage, and to increase the competitiveness and economic potential of the cultural and creative sectors, particularly the audiovisual sector.
With a number of missions that align closely with those of the Creative Europe fund, the IMZ has been a beneficiary and its proud ambassador since 2016. We express our heartfelt gratitude for the Creative Europe fund and look forward to many more decades of enriching the European cultural sector and pushing boundaries.
