This project showcases the rhythm and soul of Brazilian music to global audiences, reimagining it in a fresh context. Bossa Nova Noites honours Brazil’s musical legacy while infusing it with modern sounds that resonate worldwide.

Artistic Synergy: A Global Fusion

Mari Bodas and Monique Elen: These rising Brazilian stars infuse cultural influences into the project. Monique draws inspiration from the voices of Mavis Staples and Curtis Mayfield, alongside the flair of Bruno Mars. Mari channels the legendary sounds of Michael Jackson and Etta James, bridging Brazil with iconic musical traditions through reverence and innovation. British Soul Influence: The album nods to British Soul, with Mari and Monique channeling the styles of Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Rick Astley—highlighting Soul music’s global reach.

Curtis King, Jr. and Najee: Their collaboration embodies a cultural exchange between the streets of Chicago and the beaches of Bahia and Rio de Janeiro.
